| I was very sadenned when I became aware of of Gary's passing by accident 2 years ago. I met Gary at a gym in NYC in 1990. We struck up a freindship and became good friends. We worked in the same neighborhood uptown and would head down to the gym after work. Gary was one of those rare individuals that if he befreinded you , it was like you were a family member. He was always there for you needed him, always a joy to be around, and always willing to try anything that sparked his interest. I had boxed in the PAL and when he mentioned that he wanted to try the Golden Gloves, I warned him it wouldn't be easy. To his credit however, he saw it through and said it was one of the greatest athletic experieces that he ever had. Unfortunately we lost touch when my job was relocated and I was blessed with a new son which limted my time at the gym. I'm so sorry that we did.
I was blessed however to have gotten to know Gary, a great human being, even for the short time that I did. My deepest condolences to his family on this sad day.
God Bless,
Leo Kapakos, friend

David was a man who was devoted to his daughter Adrienne, his mother Carmen and father Frank, his sister Leslie. He was also devoted to and loved by his friends and by his fiance, Felice Chaifetz. He was a man who touched everyone with his laughter, wit, charm and his smile could light up a room. His compassion for the less fortunate inspired him to ride the 120-mile bike rides to raise money for charities including MS and cancer research. His daughter was his focus as he watched her play soccer from elementary school through the college level at Holy Cross. He was an adventurer who loved life and an avid sports enthusiast. He will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him, and loving him. His memory will live in our hearts forever. Ciao, te amo
Felice Chaifetz, fiance

| My condolences to Joe's family. We were sadden to hear of Joe's death.
My brother, John Feeley, and I grew up in Yorkville on the same street just a few buildings from where Joe and his brother, Jackie, lived.
I played basketball with Joe and his friend Billy Spade. Both were great basketball players, much
better than I was. I remember Joe having large
hands and could palm a basketball without any problem. Both were great baseball and softball
players. Joe was also a good swimmer. He was on
his high school (I think Textile HS) swim team.
We lost track of the Driscolls when I and my brother
joined the US Marines in Feb 1951 during the Korean War. Joe joined the Navy.
