| I am an old friend of Travis from Virginia and just found out about this. This is such a huge shock to me. Travis was a bright light to so many people. Truly a good person with a good heart. Even when we were apart, he was always in my heart. I will miss him dearly. If his parents and/or family or friends read this, I hope you will please get in touch with me. I am so very sorry for your loss.
Even in his short time in Virginia, he was able to bring joy and laughter to my life as I was going through a rough time.
I hope to get in touch with his family somehow to share with you my memories of him and to keep you as an extension of family.

| "I still remember the first time I saw Manny when he came in to apply at the Gap in his Peurto Rican Flag embellished denim jacket. He rose from a door guard to a manager and he was the friendliest nicest guy. The last time I saw him was at BBQ's , he was celebrating his enlistment and deployment with his family, he was so proud to have joined after 9.11. Memorial Day is about him and all the other brave people who had the freedom to do anything they wanted in life and chose the military life. RIP Manny Hornedo."
